The owner of a now-closed franchise of Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy! chain is suing the parent company for nearly $170,000, claiming that Fieri and his company failed to meet their obligations. The franchise operated at the King of Prussia Mall from February 2024 to February 2025.

A local franchisee of Guy Fieri’s fast-casual chain Chicken Guy! is suing the brand and its parent company for nearly $170,000, alleging that the parties did not pay money owed to him for winning a Food Network cooking competition show.
Kevin Cooper of Drexel Hill and his company Kimble Cooper Enterprises LLC filed the lawsuit against Chicken Guy LLC and its owner, Orlando, Florida-based hospitality company Earl Enterprises on June 27. The complaint, filed in the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleges that the companies violated their contract with Cooper by not awarding him all of the “grand prize” he was due to receive for winning Fieri’s reality show “Guy’s Chance of a Lifetime” in 2021.
