Boyd Gaming Corporation announced on May 21st its plans for a comprehensive renovation of Valley Forge Casino Resort with the goal of “creating an all-new, modern experience for residents of King of Prussia and the greater Philadelphia area.”
Work on the renovations has started, including a redesign of Valley Forge’s Stardust Hotel rooms and lobby, along with the grand opening of the all-new Valley Forge Food Hall. Scheduled for completion over the next 18 months are new food and beverage amenities and a modernization of the resort’s casino.
“We are excited to unveil our vision for the all-new Valley Forge Casino Resort,” said Martha Morales, vice-president and general manager at Valley Forge Casino Resort. “These investments represent the latest step in our long-standing commitment to offering our guests an exceptional entertainment experience. We are confident our guests will enjoy the improvements and additions we will be creating throughout our resort, and we look forward to welcoming new guests who want to see what the all-new Valley Forge Casino Resort is all about.”
Work recently began on the redesign of all 257 guestrooms and four premium suites in the resort’s Stardust Tower. The room renovations will “blend sleek mid-century Las Vegas style with contemporary comfort, including custom furnishings, ambient lighting, and elevated bathrooms with integrated lighting and refined finishes.” Renovations of the Stardust Tower lobby were completed earlier this month, “offering a stylish and welcoming new arrival experience.”
Just opened is the Valley Forge Food Hall, which offers four distinct fast-casual concepts that cater to a wide range of tastes and dining occasions. Café Primo serves as the morning go-to, offering La Colombe coffee, breakfast sandwiches, flatbreads, and pastries from local purveyor Founding Farmers.
For lunch, dinner, or late-night snacks, guests can choose from American Grill’s smash burgers, cheesesteaks, and chicken tenders; Peng Zu Express’s wok dishes, fried rice, and dim sum. General Tso’s offers chicken, and pho. Taqueria Buena features a menu of tacos, burritos, bowls, and nachos.
Still on tap for the resort are a quick-service café open throughout the day, a remodeled and rebranded tavern in the Stardust tower, an upscale steakhouse, a cigar lounge (rendering above), and a total renovation of the gaming experience.
