Cava and First Watch have signed 10-year leases for a new retail building under construction at 129 South Gulph Road in King of Prussia. Cava’s lease is for 2,100 square feet, with First Watch taking 3,900 square feet. A third 4,000 square feet does not yet have a tenant.
The two restaurants are part of a larger redevelopment project that includes the adjacent 136-room Residence Inn and 68-room The Prussia Hotel. According to an article in The Philadelphia Business Journal, a nationally known coffee shop is negotiating a lease on that property.
As of the end of 2024, Cava had 341 locations and plans to open 1,000 by 2032. As of February 1, 2025, First Watch had 370 locations in 30 states.
The retail center that will be home to Cava and First Watch has been listed for sale on Crexi.com at $13,290,000.
Construction on the retail center is expected to be completed in early summer 2025. A projected opening date for the restaurants has not been announced.
