Cecilia opened in Bridgeport over the weekend, with its official opening day as Monday, September 21st. The restaurant is from 1743 Hospitality, which owns the Blue Bell Inn, The Copper Crow, and The Country House at Bluestone.

The “New American” restaurant promises a “thoughtfully curated culinary program, signature cocktails, and seasonal concepts—including the ‘Greenhouse’ – a space planned to enhance guests’ dining experiences year-round.”

Cecilia replaces Taphouse 23, which was open from 2014 to 2025. Before that, the space was home to The Point.

The initial hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Reservations are available on Cecilia’s website. Follow the restaurant on Instagram for daily information.
