Eataly is preparing to open in 2025 in the King of Prussia Mall. The Italian food hall and market will occupy 23,000 square feet of space previously occupied by Forever 21, which reduced its footprint, and a now-closed Rite-Aid drugstore. Eataly currently has 10 locations across the country and a few dozen internationally.

What exactly is Eataly? First, Eataly is derived from combining “eat” and “Italy.” Inside Eataly, diners and shoppers will find multiple restaurants and an Italian food market featuring a bakery, butcher, fresh pasta, wine, produce, and cheese. A liquor license has been obtained.

A target opening date has not been announced.
