Firehouse Subs eyes return to Philadelphia region with King of Prussia and Willow Grove targets for locations

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported on February 16th that Firehouse Subs is looking to reenter the Philadelphia market after closing all of its prior locations three years ago. Among the initial targeted locations are King of Prussia and Willow Grove.

The sandwich maker sees opportunity to open 50 to 80 outposts throughout the region over the next five to 10 years, senior director of franchising Kelly Crummer told the Business Journal. Depending on the ability of its franchisee partners, she hopes the fast-casual chain can open the first 10 Philadelphia-area locations within three years.
