Sheetz’s first location in Montgomery County, and even broader, the collar counties of Philadelphia, is set to open on February 12th at 454 West Ridge Pike in the Royersford section of Limerick Township.

Sheetz and Wawa have been slowly expanding their footprints and breaching one another’s historic territories in Pennsylvania and opening in other states. In the case of this new Sheetz location, it is just across the street from a Wawa.

The Royersford location will have a liquor license, which was acquired from an Ambler pizza shop. The license is currently listed as pending. Limerick Township’s board of supervisors approved the out-of-township transfer in 2025.
