Al Tacos Locos, a Halal Mexican restaurant, will open on Saturday, February 8th, at 408 York Road in Jenkintown. A grand opening celebration will start at noon.

Owner Abdul Khan is operating the new eatery with his brother, Khan, previously owned Oishi Sushi at the same location.

“We converted from sushi to Mexican tacos and hot chicken. We’re no longer serving sushi,” Khan told sister publication Glenside Local. “Our items are trending, so we combined them. In the future, we may add pizza.”
