Il Fiore, located at Bryn Mawr Village in Bryn Mawr, announced its closure on December 29th. The restaurant first opened in 2022 as an Italian Steakhouse named Fiore Rosso, with noted chef Marc Vetri serving as a consultant. In 2024, the restaurant was briefly closed and shortly reopened as Il Fiore, a more approachable Italian restaurant.

The closure was announced on social media. The statement read:

After several years serving the Bryn Mawr community and beyond, we have made the tough decision to close our restaurant permanently.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our story.

As one chapter closes, another begins. We are beyond confident that the next restaurateur who takes our place will give the community a wonderful place to enjoy for many years to come.
