There is a pending liquor license for the Costco at 201 Allendale Road in King of Prussia. The license is being acquired from Legal Seafoods, which closed at the King of Prussia Mall in 2025. Since the license already existed within Upper Merion Township, it did not require any municipal level approval. It is currently going through the approval process with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

Costco sells alcohol in many states, but the effort to add it to its shelves in Pennsylvania is very new. There is also a pending license in Cranberry Township that was initiated in late 2025.

We will provide more information once the store is approved to sell alcohol.
