Tommy’s Tavern + Tap coming to King of Prussia

Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, a New Jersey-based restaurant chain with 13 locations in New Jersey, Delaware, and New York, is opening its first Pennsylvania restaurant in King of Prussia. The liquor license for the former J Alexanders at 256 Mall Boulevard is now marked as pending for Tommy’s.

The closest location is Cherry Hill, which offers pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a handful of entrees, such as Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese and Cherry Coke BBQ Ribs. In addition, there is sushi and poke. The bar serves a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wines.

According to an article in The Philadelphia Business Journal, Tommy’s is targeting a late summer opening.
