Experience Lassan Indian Traditional in Lafayette Hill. The BYOB recently added a new dining room

Master Chef Shyam Dimdung and Culinary Chef Pema Lama opened Lassan Indian Traditional in October 2024 at the Shoppers World Shopping Center in Lafayette Hill. Lassan filled the space that had been the longtime home of Caspian Grille, which moved to the Flourtown Farmers’ Market.

The Nepalese chefs have over 30 years of combined experience in the culinary world, having worked at some of the region’s top Indian kitchens, including Saffron Indian Kitchen and Tiffin.

Lassan was first opened mainly for takeout and delivery, but in 2025, the restaurant was expanded to include a comfortable dining room for 36 patrons who are welcome to BYOB. Vegetarians, vegans, and those seeking dairy-free and gluten-free options will be pleased with their options on the menu.

Chefs Pema and Shyam shared, “Our hearts are in every dish, and we invite you to experience the flavors of our traditional Indian menu in our new dining room.”

Lassan is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition to dining in, takeout and delivery orders can be made by calling (610) 834-7660 or online.
